The IBM 579C PCIe4 x8 2-port 32Gb Fiber Channel Adapter is a high-performance short form adapter based on the Marvell QLE2772 PCIe host bus adapter. The IBM 579C PCIe4 x8 2-port 32Gb Fiber Channel Adapter has 02CM909 03HD068 03HD069 part numbers and IBM EN1J EN1K feature codes. The IBM 579C PCIe4 x8 2-port 32Gb Fiber Channel Adapter provides two ports of 32Gb fiber channel capability using SR optics, of which each port can provides up to 6,400MBps bandwidth. Each port of the IBM 579C PCIe4 x8 2-port 32Gb Fiber Channel Adapter provides single initiator capability over a fibre link or with NPIV, multiple initiator capability is provided. The IBM 579C PCIe4 x8 2-port 32Gb Fiber Channel Adapter with 32Gb SR optical transceivers installed. The ports have LC type connectors and utilize shortwave laser optics. Both the IBM EN1J and EN1K are electronically identical, however IBM EN1K has a short tail stock for low profile PCIe slots and the IBM EN1J has a tail stock for full height PCIe slots.
