The Role-Swap Automation add-on for the IBM i Backup Snapshot software enables a IBM i role swap or switchover to another LPAR running on a target IBM i DR system, using a single command to initiate your Disaster Recover Plan in the event of a unplanned outage or declared disaster as quick as possible and without error.

Safe-Guarded Copy software enables the IBM i Source LPAR to trigger a Safe-Guarded Copy or immutable backup, that prevents anyone or anything from altering or deleting the IBM i Backup on the external storage array.
