The IBM 3298 256GB DDR5 Memory 2x128GB 16GBIT 3200MHz DDIMMs feature has 03HD795 03HD800 03HD815 part numbers and EMFD EMFF EM4M EM4G EMFW feature codes. The IBM 3298 256GB DDR5 Memory 2x128GB 16GBIT DDIMMs feature code, is supported on IBM Power11 system models 9824-42A S1124 and 9856-42H L1124, IBM Power10 system models 9105-42A S1024, 9786-42H L1024.

IBM Power 11 and Power 10 systems use next-generation DDR5 OMI DDIMMs, which are high performing, highly reliable, and high functioning memory cards that contain a buffer chip, intelligence, and deliver up to 4800 MHz DRAM speeds for DCM Power11 processors and 4000 MHz DRAM speeds for eSCM Power11 processors. IBM Power11 memory delivers about 1,200 GB/sec bandwidth per Power11 processor socket, which equates to 12.8 TB/sec in a 16-socket server. IBM recommends adding IBM Power 11 Memory features to all 32 DDIMM slots for best performance, especially for OLAP and other high bandwidth workloads. Due to the low prices of IBM Power11 main storage, it is a very cost effective means to improve performance of your IBM Power11 system’s workloads. The IBM Power11 Memory DDIMMs are placed in DDIMM slots in the IBM Power11 system. Note: IBM Power11 DDR5 memory features are backwards compatible with IBM Power10 server memory slots. IBM Power10 Memory DDR5 feature codes are different, but have the same part number and report with the same CCIN as Power11 memory features.
