The IBM 1751 900GB 10K RPM SAS SFF Disk Drive for IBM Power AIX, Linux and VIOS has 19A4 CCIN and 74Y9272 part number, uses a gen-1 SFF carrier and supported in SFF SAS bays found in 5802 or 5803 I/O drawers and the CEC of the following IBM Power systems: 8202-E4C, 8202-E4D, 8205-E6C, 8205-E6D, 8231-E1C, 8231-E1D, 8231-E2C, 8231-E2D, 8233-E8B, 8236-E8C, 8408-E8D, 9109-RMD, 9117-MMC, 9117-MMD, 9119-FHB, 9179-MHC, 9179-MHD. The 1751 Disk Drive for Power AIX and Linux is formatted for 512 byte sectors, but can be reformatted to 528 byte sectors for use by IBM iSeries Power systems. The IBM 1751 can not be used in a 5887 EXP24S Gen2 I/O drawer since it requires a SFF SAS disk drive bay slot. The IBM 1751 Disk Drive is identical to IBM 1737 19B4 74Y9271 74Y9260 856 GB SFF 10k rpm SAS disk drive for iSeries, but is formatted to support AIX, Linux and VIOS.
