Avago manufactured a wide range of SFP Small Form-factor Pluggable transceivers using industry standards like SFF-8074, SFF-8431, and SFF-8472, and are hot-pluggable modules for networking equipment, delivering speeds from Gigabit Ethernet 1G, up to 25G SFP28 and beyond, offering SR and LR fiber for multimode and single mode applications, as well as copper 10GBASE-T with RJ45 connectivity for high port density and reliability in data centers and enterprise networks. Avago was purchased by Broadcom in 2015.
