IBM 7316-TF5 Rack-Mounted LCD HD Monitor and Keyboard

IBM 7316-TF5 17.3-Inch flat panel rack-mounted monitor and keyboard is a TFT LCD HD flat-panel display, keyboard, touchpad mouse and tray all in a single unit. The 7316-TF5 IBM rack-mounted monitor and keyboard is for use with IBM Power systems and servers, and has 02JD587 and AB11A part numbers. The 7316-TF5 console unit occupies 1U of space fits in almost any IBM or non-IBM rack and supports most IBM HMC models. Customers can install an optional IBM 4283 rack console switch behind the 7316-TF5 standard console in the rack to attach up to 128 IBM Power servers to the flat-panel display and keyboard. The IBM 7316-TF5 Color TFT LCD HD flat-panel display supports video resolutions from 640 x 480 through 1920 x 1080 at 60 and 75 Hz refresh rates.

The IBM 7316-TF5 17.3-Inch flat panel rack-mounted TFT monitor and keyboard for IBM Power Systems supports IBM i, AIX, Linux and PowerVM environments, and provides customers with low cost option to operate the IBM HMC or IBM Hardware Management Console. The IBM 7316 Model TF5 has Regulatory Model ID 173RM17A. The IBM 7316-TF5 is a rack-mountable flat-panel console kit consisting of a 17.3-inch full, TFT LCD HD color monitor, an integrated keyboard with touchpad mouse, support for IBM KVM switches, and support for many different languages. This high-performance KVM console occupies only 1U or 1.75 inches in a standard19-inch rack drawer, making it ideal for situations where space is constrained. It is designed to allow a KVM switch to be mounted directly behind the console, but it can also be configured with the tray pulled forward and the monitor folded up, providing full viewing and keying capability for the HMC operator. Using TFT LCD technology, the full HD display supports video resolutions from 640 x 480 through 1920 x 1080 at 60 and 75 Hz refresh rates.

The IBM 4283 Rack Console Switch for the IBM 7316-TF5 enables users single-point access and control of up to 128 IBM Power servers and can be mounted in the same 1U space behind the 7316 Model TF5.

The IBM 7316 Model TF5 is a newer console than the 7316 Model TF4 and can be used anywhere the Model TF4 can be used. The Model TF5 provides equivalent function to the Model TF4.
