IBM S1112 9242-21B Power 11 Server Model Specifications and Pricing

IBM S1112 Power 11 9242-21B is an single socket entry scale-out server model that can be configured with a 4-Core or 10 Core eSCM module, up to 512 GB of DDR5 DDIMM memory via 4 DDIMM slots, 12.8 TB of internal flash storage via 4 NVMe U.2 slots, and can be in a half wide 2U rackmount or deskside chassis. The IBM S1112 9242-21B is the only Power11 server in an IBM i P05 software tier and is limited to running on 4 Cores, 64 GB of main storage. The IBM S1112 9242-21B delivers 117,000 CPW with 4-Cores for both native IBM i and virtual client workloads and can have a maximum of four partitions. The IBM S1112 9242-21B also supports AIX, VIOS and Linux server workloads, of which have no limitations. A 9242-21B system can have a mix of workloads with the IBM i partitions, and the AIX, VIOS and Linux server workloads may utilize share the full capabilities of the IBM S1112 servers’ resources without limitations. IBM S1112 9242-21B server also has four non-hot plug PCIe slots, 2 PCIe G4 x16 and 2 PCIe G4 x8. The IBM S1112 9242-21B server and can utilize halve of an I/O drawer when configured in a rack mount chassis.
