This page is for installing Enforcive Enterprise Security version 8.4.1, the files and instructions on this page are NOT FOR UPGRADING an existing Enforcive version. Please read installation instructions before beginning.

Important Notes: QSERVER and QUSRWRK sub-systems only need to be restarted if you activate Database Server and File Server exit programs, which can be done as a separate step at a convenient time. Contact your Midland Account Representative if you would like our no charge installation assistance or have any questions. After activating Database Server (for ODBC and JDBC applications) or File Server (for IFS protection), you must run the below commands afterwards. Other details are explained in the "installation instructions" provided above.

Be sure to read and follow Enforcive's Operational Instructions required for any of the following tasks/events.  Note: Enforcive cannot be replicated to another system.  Enforcive must first be installed on the target system at the same version as source, then Enforcive can be replicated “AFTER” following the instructions for objects to exclude.

IFS Malware Protection with Enforcive File Server Exit Program and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

Important Note:  If you need a license key, perform the below steps and send the system output to your Midland Account Representative:

Run the following command:  CALL PGM(QLZARCAPI)
Press F1 on the message at the bottom of the screen, press F10 to display the full message and email the copy/paste or screenshot.

Updating or Adding New Enforcive License Keys

Logon to Green Screen with ENFORCE User ID, upon logon, you will be prompted to update your license > Press F10.  Copy/paste your new license code, and press F16 to apply.

To enter a license key for any optional module, tab over to the “System” menu and take option 4 for “Customer License Codes”.
Put a 2 next to the module, paste the license key, and press F16 to apply, not the enter key.
If you do not see your license key updated correctly in the following screen... do the process again, but use F16 this time.
