The Lenovo ThinkServer RD450 boasts up to two of the latest Intel® Xeon® processors E5-2600 v4 series and up to 28 cores per system. With as much as 1TB of memory via 16 slots, it supports double the capacity of the previous generation. Because the RD450 uses DDR4 memory, you get up to a 50% boost in performance and up to a 45% increase in power savings over previous generation memory—enabling your applications to run faster and more efficiently. These gains, coupled with the RD450’s highly flexible design, make it perfect for your infrastructure, collaboration, and line-of-business applications, as well as web serving or hosting.

The Lenovo ThinkServer RD450 offers generous storage capacity and flexible configuration options to create the right system for your needs. This server is ideal for small-to-medium-sized businesses because of its large, cost-effective storage capacity. Dual SD card options are also available to support hypervisor booting. The ThinkServer RD450 2.5-inch configuration leverages the Lenovo AnyRAID design, allowing the use of your choice of RAID adapter without consuming a PCIe slot. For more protection and performance, upgrade your ThinkServer RAID adapter for additional RAID levels and flash-backed cache.
