IBM 3580 L43 TS2430 LTO4 Single External LVD SCSI Tape Drive
The IBM 3580-L43 TS2340 LTO4 Tape Drive includes one LTO4 SCSI Tape Drive in an external enclosure with a Ultra160 SCSI Interface, providing 800GB Native capacity or 1.6TB with 2:1 compression when using LTO4 media. The IBM 3580-L43 TS2340 LTO4 Tape Drive delivers up to 120 MB/sec native data transfer rate and 140MB/Sec when using 2:1 compression. The IBM TS2340 can read and write LTO Ultrium 3 Data Cartridges at Ultrium 3 capacities and rates, and can read LTO Ultrium 2 Data Cartridges at Ultrium 2 capacities with improved rates. The 3580-L43 TS2340 LTO4 Tape Drive uses an Ultra160 SCSI Low Voltage Differential (LVD) interface and can be attached to the IBM iSeries, IBM AIX Power System, HP-UX, Sun Solaris, and non-IBM servers that support Ultra160 SCSI Low Voltage Differential (LVD) interface specifications.
