IBM S922 9009-22G EP56 Power9 server has a single socket 2.8-3.8 GHz 4-core processor, delivers 68,000 CPW, supports up to 2 TB memory, 14 NVMe Enterprise SSD devices, 14.4TB internal storage, and is ideal for Linux Server and AIX workloads running data-intensive operational databases, advanced analytics, and business applications with heavy memory and bandwidth requirements. This 9009-EP56 4-core Power9 processor is the only S922 9009-22G model that does not support IBM i OS400 natively nor does it support IBM i via VIOS. Request configuration and pricing using the Request Quote feature. This 9009-EP5Y 1-core processor is the only S922 processor model that that IBM i OS400. All other 9009-22G processor models except the EP5Y are in a IBM i P10 software tier, even the two processor socket 16, 20 and 22-core models. It is important to note the 9009-22G EP58, EP59, and EP5B have maximum partition (LPAR) size limitation for IBM i environments (a maximum of four cores can be allocated to an IBM i LPAR, and all I/O must be virtualized through VIOS. Request configuration and pricing using the Request Quote feature.
