IBM 59CC is a 571GB 15K RPM SAS SFF-2 4K 2.5-inch Disk Drive on a Gen-2 carrier tray for installation in an IBM Power System EXP24S drawer. The IBM 59CC Disk Drive is formatted for 4224 byte sectors, but can be reformatted to 4096 byte sectors, providing 600GB capacity. The IBM 59CC disk drive may have 00E8683, 00E8689, 00E8383 or 00E8686. The IBM 59CC may have a ESFN ESFP ESF4 ESF5 or ELFP feature code depending the IBM Power Server Model, OS type and SAS bay placement when configured for purchase. 

All IBM hardware purchases are eligible for existing IBM maintenance and support agreements, include warranty and free technical support during normal business hours. Onsite and remote professional services requried outside normal business hours are provided for an additional fee. 

The IBM 59CC cannot be used in POWER8 System unit SFF Gen3-bay drawer because of physical difference of carrier tray. The IBM 59CC cannot be combined in the same array as a drive of the same capacity that has a different sector size. The IBM 59CC must be installed in a SFF-2 SAS bay.
