ORION Express is an entry-level high availability/disaster recovery solution designed to manage the application and data availability of an OS/400 system for small-to-medium size companies. These environments tend to be a single iSeries server or possibly two iSeries servers or LPARs responsible for hosting one-to-two line of business applications. The solution leverages IBM’s remote journaling in providing full server replication with Enterprise Class Data Integrity and operator managed switching in a non-clustered environment.

The typical ORION Express customer will have a limited IT staff and operational skills as well as limited processes, procedures and budget for managing their information availability. These sites still have a critical requirement to ensure applications and data hosted on the iSeries systems are highly available during specific production periods, as well as protection from disastrous situations.

ORION Professional for (OS/400 & Windows) (Brochure)
ORION Professional is a high availability or disaster recovery solution designed to manage the information availability needs for small-to-medium size companies or departments deploying critical applications on OS/400 or Windows 2000.

These types of environments tend to be simple-to-moderate in complexity typically with two iSeries or Windows servers responsible for hosting one-to-two line of business applications. The OS/400 solution leverages either remote or local journaling in providing full server replication with Enterprise Class Data Integrity and provides operator managed switching of systems. The Windows solution utilizes file change replication for efficient mirroring of application data.

ORION Enterprise is a managed availability solution designed to manage the full scope of OS/400 information availability needs of enterprise-level companies providing a wide range of solutions from disaster recovery through clustering. ORION Enterprise companies can be any size but typically have a more complex environment, where critical information is being generated on two or more servers executing large scale applications such as ERP, CRM or critical LOB applications.

ORION Advanced Enterprise is a managed availability solution designed to manage the most demanding of OS/400 information availability needs of large, enterprise class companies including everything from disaster recovery through advanced clustering and leverages the most leading edge methods and technologies including IASP, switchable IASP and mixed clusters.
