VISUAL Message Center - OVERVIEW

VISUAL Message Center presents the most robust suite of state of the art monitoring sensors, System Management capabilities and automation features for the OS400, including very detailed 'Real Time' Operating Health status.  Although originally designed for IBM's iSeries (AS400) platform, VISUAL Message Center will monitor, manage and notify you in real time (AS400 Messaging) of any event, performance issue, Security breach or application problem that could impact the operating health of your entire IT Department, including local or remote iSeries (AS400), Windows, Unix, or Linux Servers as well as networked services and devices such as your corporate website, email, file or print server.

VISUAL Message Center (Spec Sheet) - VISUAL Message Center proatively detects critical messages and then channels them to an easy-to-understand graphical management console(s) on a Windows Client PC that automatically handles the customized views of your enterprise, providing business views based on their association, and further more avoids the need for system operators or programmers to monitor systems manually. These enterprise views can be easily customized according to your unique business environmet, allowing you to arrange your messages in the way that best suits your enterprise infrastructure (e.g. iSeries Subsystems or Message Queues, Applications, Security Events, Website, Email, Networked Devices, Accounting Department, etc.). Business Views and on screen icons change color according to their criticalness and are further arranged by their priority. 

The user-defined filters allows your operators to see only the messages and events that are important to them based on their specific priorities (as they relate to their personal responsibilities) and further alerts the responsible party via (email, pager, cell phone, sms device, etc) or automated responses can be easily set respond to common messages or situations, so that operators do not have to waste time with repetitive System Management tasks and automate complex actions to rectify a problem on their behalf.  If a message or event hasn't been replied to by the responsible operator, an advanced alert escalation list provides the insurance your company needs be sure that a response will be provided within a given period of time.

iSeries Server Agent (Spec Sheet) - Collects and manages batch messages from any iSeries message queue (e.g. QSYSOPR). Monitors job activity and status, job queues, devices, history log (QHST).

Reporting System (Spec Sheet) - Flexible, graphical reporting system that provides insight and trends from system activity. Can generate Web-based and PDF reports with ease.

Notifier/Direct SMS (Spec Sheet) - Any message or event recieved by Visual Message Center can be broadcasted to any # of mobile devices with the ability to escalate and reply to messages by SMS or email as well as execute remote commands..

iSeries Interactive Agent (Spec Sheet) - Collects and manages all interactive iSeries user error messages.

Windows Server Agent (Spec Sheet) - Collects and manages application, system, performance and security events from any Windows server (NT, 2000, XP).

TCP/IP Services Agent (Spec Sheet) - Continuously monitors the status of all your networked devices and services, detecting problems, slow downs, and measuring total downtime.

Application Agent (Spec Sheet) - is a realtime text file processor that monitors files and folders as they are being filled with data, for creation, deletions, modifications or suspicous changes in size.
Performance Agent  (Spec Sheet) - gives you real time performance monitoring of one or multiple iSeries servers or partitions. View bottlenecks the second they are ocurring.
