Coupled with Common Cryptographic Services APIs (BOSS option 35), within OS/400 V4R5, or later, this feature provides a rich set of cryptographic functions and secure storage of cryptographic keys. The level of encryption is determined by a no-charge Cryptographic Access Provider Licensed Program, which is used to initialize the adapter. On new orders, #4801 will be shipped with the system, but not installed.
